Resource Efficiency Grant for Energy (REG(E))

The Resource Efficiency Grant for Energy (REG(E)) supports industrial facilities in the manufacturing sector to be more energy efficient and improve competitiveness. The REG(E) is part of the Enhanced Industry Energy Efficiency package, with the Energy Market Authority (EMA), Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and the National Environment Agency (NEA) each rolling out initiatives to extend stronger support to companies in their drive to become more energy efficient and reduce carbon emissions.


Projects can receive funding support of up to 50% of qualifying cost – an increase from the previous 30% maximum funding.


• A Singapore-registered owner or operator

• Group annual sales turnover of more than S$500 million

Note: The facility undergoing the energy efficiency project must be sited in Singapore
